1. 100% On-Device Processing Architecture

DocToolKit was created with privacy as its primary architectural principle. All document and image operations—including PDF compression, merging, splitting, camera scanning, photo cropping, and format conversion—occur entirely within your web browser using HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly, and local JavaScript libraries.

2. Zero Server Uploads

Your files, documents, photos, and signatures are never uploaded, transmitted, or streamed to any DocToolKit web server or third-party cloud infrastructure. All file reading, processing, and saving happens in local volatile memory (RAM) on your physical computer, tablet, or phone.

3. Local Browser Storage (IndexedDB)

DocToolKit includes an optional local Document Organizer that allows you to review your processed files. This library is stored solely inside your browser's local sandboxed database (IndexedDB). It is never synchronized to the cloud and is accessible only to you on your current browser profile. You can delete individual documents or clear the entire library at any time with one click.

4. Cookies & Analytics

DocToolKit does not use tracking cookies, advertising identifiers, or invasive telemetry. We do not profile your usage or sell data to third parties.
